Morton's of Chicago, The Steakhouse

I received an e-invite in my email box at 5:50pm. I read the invitation and realised that I'll be having dinner at the famous Morton's of Chicago. :D Yippie!!! It has always been in my "To-Eat " list. You can imagine how excited I was.

At Morton's of Chicago, you should expect great service. And that was delivered the moment we entered the restaurant. My experience at Morton's was really good. They have a really interesting way of presenting their menu to the guests. They'd lay out the ingredients and raw food infront of the table for the guests to view while the waiter rattles on the recommendations. I was trying real hard to remember what was said by the waiter. But everything sounds very very delicious. I wished I had a huge stomach (and wallet) then... so I can try every dish.

Finally, I made up my mind. I ordered the oysters and a slightly smaller portion of fillet mignon (medium). All I can say is... "Mmmmm... Ahhhh..." The oysters were so fresh and plump. Even the smaller sized ones were soooo... satisfying. The fillet mignon was juicy juicy juicy. Every bite was simply divine. The flavours were just oozing out everytime I sink my teeth into the meat. Ooooo... LOVELY!!!

A dinner for 2 (without wine) will set you aside about S$300 (easily). But what you'll get in return is a whole new perspective of steak (and oysters). :P

This restaurant is now crowned my favourite steak place! :D
